Daisuke will give a speech in JFBA OECD Joint Webinar “Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence in practice – Responsible Business Conduct and the Role of Lawyers”.
He will give a presentation entitled "How Japanese business and lawyers can improve due diligence practices – takeaways from legal practices on Business and Human Rights and case studies on environmental due diligence”.
Daisuke has been appointed as of counsel of Akrivis Law Group, a boutique law firm focusing on Sanctions, Export Controls & Trade Regulation Compliance, Banking & Finance, International Business Transactions, and Anti-Corruption based in Washington DC, while he continues to provide legal service as Japanese attorney through Shinwa Sohgoh Law Offices based in Tokyo.
Daisuke authored an article "Addressing sanctions compliance challenges for companies in Japan" which was featured on the Issue 97 of World ECR, the journal of Export Controls and Sanctions.
